WA Healthplanfinder: A New Way Find Health Coverage

Healthcare change is fast approaching and as a Washington State resident, you will have a new way to find, compare and enroll in health insurance. This new program is called Washington Healthplanfinder and as your broker, CGA Benefits will still be able to assist you with your needs.

Starting on January 1, 2014, all individuals will be required to be enrolled in either an individual plan or group sponsored plan. There will be an “Open Enrollment Period” for enrollment into a plan. The “Open Enrollment” dates for the Exchange Program (Healthplanfinder) will begin on October 1, 2013 thru March 31, 2014, with January 1, 2014 as the first effective date.

Now is the time to begin to discuss and create a strategy that ensures you are compliant with the Affordable Care Act (ACA). To determine if you may be eligible for tax credits and subsidies related to the ACA, you may want to use the cost-estimate calculator provide on the homepage.

We know the world of healthcare is quickly changing and as we have done in the past, CGA Benefits will continue to serve as your trusted resource and broker who can continue to recommend and present plans that best fit your needs both inside and outside the exchange (Healthplanfinder).

As you know, the ACA is new and unchartered territory and CGA Benefits looks forward to sharing our expertise and knowledge to help best steer your course of action.
